Your why is your reason that keeps you going. Usually it comes up when you want to quit and how you keep yourself going is to remember why you started in the first place.

To find your, you must ask yourself why this is important. Why is it important that you go through your health and fitness journey and don't give up.

So if your journey has a lot of steps in it the only way to get those steps in is to make the first step and continue making those steps.

To make those steps you may have to change and develop yourself along the way. So do that and do not be afraid to do so. Welcome to challenge for it's a part of the journey and the best part of the journey is not the destination is the journey.

So lean on your resources that will help you get through the tough times so you can be victorious.

We all relapse in the fitness game. It's a journey and it's inevitable that you will have times where you struggle.

And when struggles happen, there is something there for you to learn!!

Here lies my top 3 ways to overcome a fitness relapse and keep the gains gaining!

1. Set realistic goals. In setting these goals you must keep it small. By keeping the goal small it will be achievable and allow you to build confidence and momentum at the same time. Also tracking helps you know you got the target 🎯😉👊🏾

This week's weekly feature is a recipe on Food Friday!!

Protein pancake dents!!

2 eggs
1 cup of almond flower
1 cup of almond milk ( I use vanilla)
2 scoops of P.E. science protein.
A healthy spray of olive oil.

I rotate between snickerdoodle, strawberry cheesecake, and caramel macchiato!

I bet any flavor will work as long as it's a flavor you love!

This recipe was used with a mini waffle maker. This made 7 pancake dents!!

I eat 4 and my wife eats 3.

Iohe how dents taste warm but I have been known to eat them cold from time to time.

No syrup needed!!

Know this: Excuses kill dreams and plant the seeds of future regrets.

This last go around on day 75 or 75 hard I truly got that I have made many excuses about why things in my life didn't go as I planned it.

I have a family, my boys are young, I have BM issues, court fees, emotionally drained from it, mentally exhausted, concussed, doctors appointments, chiropractor appointments, physical therapy, attorneys, I don't know how to, my job requires a lot, blah blah blah.

The bottom line is my excuses were stronger than my focus.

Maybe others saw it and maybe not but the most important person didn't see it until recently, ME!

I can't thank @andyfrisella enough for creating this challenge. If people do this challenge right they will learn some interesting things about themselves.

For the ongoing support in the fitness industry along with all the folks that work there who have helped me learn and grow.

And my lovely wife @emont1105 who helps me tremendously. So much that I can focus on what I need to do I can lead our family to the promised land.
